The Wooden Boat Festival, held annually in September in Port Townsend, Wash., is sometimes referred to as the “Woodstock of Wooden Boats” in the Pacific Northwest.
“It's been a great festival,” Northwest Maritime Center executive director Jake Beattie told the local Peninsula Daily News on the last day of the 38th annual show this year. “We've had perfect weather. It's been cloudless and everybody seems happy.”
The three-day festival showcased 250 boats. It always draws a solid crowd of wooden-boat enthusiasts.
Organizers recently posted an intimate video of the event, which captures the essence and mood of the show.
