DataTracker: Apple still tops mobile traffic

We frequently report on the continued rise of mobile traffic on Boat Trader and other websites. Recently, we ran a report on the mobile devices boaters are using to access www.boattrader.com and we saw that Apple devices still dominate.

Even as Android devices recently have begun to outsell Apple, the iPhone and iPad remain far ahead of Samsung and Motorola on Boat Trader. Among all devices the iPad has a 41 percent share and the iPhone has 35 percent. The next most popular devices are Motorola’s Droid Razr/Droid HD and Samsung’s Galaxy S3 (SCH-1535).

For the purposes of the comparison in the table at right we aggregated the unique visitors for all Samsung Galaxy and Motorola Droid devices among the top 30 devices ranked. That included 14 Samsung Galaxy models, seven by Motorola and two by Amazon Kindle.
