Power-cruiser models were the second-most-viewed class of boat on Boat Trader in 2016. Visitors to the site looked at listings for power cruisers, new and used, nearly 6.5 million times during the year.

Last month we reported on the top-viewed class — center consoles. The leading state for views of power cruisers on Boat Trader was Florida, with 870,000, well ahead of Michigan and New York, where boat shoppers recorded a virtually identical number of views — 550,000.

Although the large-population states California and Texas also ranked highly, Ohio joined Michigan as a second Midwestern state that cracked the top five and Illinois was close behind in seventh place.

Boat shoppers in the top 10 states combined were responsible for more than 4 million of the Boat Trader listing views.
