The monthly Pulse Report asks marine dealers to weigh in on how they are spending the winter months following a summer and fall that saw new-boat demand spike.
The five-question survey was launched by the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas and Baird Research in 2013 to take the pulse of monthly retail conditions. Soundings Trade Only partnered with Baird to help distribute the survey and report its results.
The survey analyzes such industry data points as new-boat demand, inventory levels and access to credit. It also includes the Marine Retail Sentiment Index, which gauges retailer confidence.
