The American Boat Builders & Repairers Association's annual conference will be redesigned this year to focus on boatyard and boat repair business owners, operators and managers.

The conference will be expanded by 25 percent and is intended to bring decision makers in the boatyard and repair industry together to discuss common business problems and best business practices. It will be held July 18 and 19 in New Bedford, Mass.

"This new two-day event will provide leading-edge information about issues and topics that support the best interest of boatyard and boat repair business owners, operators and managers," ABBRA president Pam Lendzion said in a statement.
