ABBRA Summer Symposium set for August

The American Boat Builders & Repairers Association 2010 Summer Symposium is scheduled for Aug. 2-3 at the Hilton Mystic at the Aquarium in Mystic, Conn.

"Based on what we learned at our highly successful inaugural event last year, the ABBRA Summer Symposium promises to be a great chance for the marine service industry (boatyards, repairers, boatbuilders) and affiliated partners to benefit from the purpose-driven content and networking opportunities available at this gathering," ABBRA president Doug Domenie said in a statement.

The two-day symposium includes panel seminars from industry leaders, attendee-led roundtable discussions on current issues and a keynote presentation. Registrants may also participate in a field trip visiting two area boatyards to witness regional best practices firsthand.
