To bring awareness to the effect marinas have on the livelihood and growth of boating, as well as the jobs and tourism boost they provide, Bellingham Marine launched a photo contest in 2007 to celebrate them on a global level.

The company is now opening its 2015 Share the Beauty photo contest. Entries are due by Aug. 31. The images must include a Bellingham dock or pontoon system or other company product to be eligible.

Winners will be announced in October and will receive a Yeti Hopper soft-sided cooler valued at $300; the winning photos will be featured in the company’s 2016 calendar.
