Maryland-based Clarks Landing is finalizing plans to renovate its Eastern Shore Marina near Annapolis. Improvements will include new floating docks, a Travelift well to haul boats to 50 feet, a fuel dock and a pumpout station.

"Our relocation from the former showroom facility on Route 50 to our waterfront marina has proven to be a good business decision," said George Truesdale, president of Clarks Landing. "Our sales and service departments have seen a dramatic increase in business."

The company is planning additional improvement to its existing facilities in 2011.

Clarks Landing is the largest independent boat dealer in the Mid-Atlantic. It has locations throughout Maryland and New Jersey and it carries the Sea Ray, Cruisers, Silverton and Ovation lines.
