Cobalt Boats recognizes top dealers at annual meeting

More than 400 dealers from across the United States, Canada and other international locations participated in Cobalt Boats’ Sept. 11-13 worldwide dealer meeting at The Chateau on the Lake Resort and Spa on Table Rock Lake in Missouri.

“We are fortunate to have almost 100 percent attendance from our dealer partners, and we appreciate them taking a few days out of their schedules to attend our meeting,” Cobalt CEO Paxson St. Clair said in a statement.

“This year we welcomed not only a huge percentage of our domestic dealers, but were pleased to have dealers from Canada, Europe, South Africa and Latin America. The meeting was the world premiere of three new Cobalt models and two new Marker One Platform Series models. Our dealer partners are enthusiastic about the prospects of the upcoming selling season, including the addition of the Marker One brand.”

The top dealers were commended for their accomplishments and Cobalt announced the recipients of the 2014 model year dealer awards.

This year’s awards for excellent Customer Satisfaction Index ratings, Top International Dealer, Top Ten Dealers, Rookie of the Year and the World’s Largest Cobalt Dealer were presented during the meeting.

The world’s largest dealer and the No. 1 spot in the Top Ten Dealer awards, for the third year in a row, went to the Singleton Marine Group of Buford, Ga. Singleton is a family-owned business and has been a Cobalt dealer since the 1996 model year.

The remaining Top Ten Dealer awards, presented respectively, were:

• Parks Marina
• Gordy’s Marina
• Premier Marine
• Village Marina
• Boats by George
• Seattle Boat Co.
• Slalom Shop
• Walker’s Point Marina

The top international dealer was SportBas, of Chile.
