Congresswoman to speak at Clean Marina open house

U.S. Rep. Candice Miller, R-Mich., will speak on the topic of "Green and Clean Marinas: The perfect balance of environment and economics in Michigan" at a special open house Sept. 28 at MacRay Harbor in Harrison Township, Mich.

The event includes a tour of two certified Michigan clean marinas, MacRay and Belle Maer Harbors, which are located side-by-side on Lake St. Clair.

The program will run from 1-4 p.m.

The Michigan Clean Marina Program has certified 32 marinas and harbors as Michigan Clean Marinas. An additional 43 facilities are working toward certification.
