A 156-slip marina should be under construction in a few months on the south side of International Speedway Boulevard in Daytona Beach, Fla., and a new grocery store or some other type of business could start going up next year.

The Gateway Daytona marina project, which also includes plans to eventually add a hotel, restaurant and shops, is moving forward after being stalled by the sputtering economy and should be open early next year, the Daytona Beach News-Journal reports.
