Formula Boats, of Decatur, Ind., recently recognized dealers with Best Practice awards and customer satisfaction achievements.

Five dealerships received Best Practice awards at Formula’s dealer meeting at the Sanibel Harbor Resort and Spa in Fort Myers, Fla. Recipients were determined from a review of dealership applications, customer nominations and Formula on-site visits.

Another 21 Formula dealers were honored for their 2008 model year customer satisfaction scores. Combined, these dealerships account for a Customer Satisfaction Index of 97.

Clarks Landing is scoring big points with the boatbuilders it represents.

Clarks Landing Boat Sales, of Chester, Md., was appointed a Sea Ray Ambassador Dealer for the 2009 model year. Clarks Landing, which sells Sea Ray boats out of its Chester, Chesapeake City and Gambrills locations, also was recognized at the boatbuilder’s September dealer meeting as the second-highest volume Sea Ray dealer in the world.

Clarks Landing Yacht Center of West River, Md., was honored as a Top Carver Dealer for 2008. The dealership sells Carver yachts in Maryland and Virginia, as well as Cruisers and Silverton yachts.

Crystal-Pierz Marine was named No. 1 volume dealer at the Glastron Dealer Conference at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort in St. Petersburg, Fla.
