Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Win-tron Electronics, Dr. Shrink, Cobalt Boats and Torqeedo.

Win-tron Electronics was named national distributor of Iris Innovations' entire line of marine optics, including specialist marine cameras, thermal imaging cameras and switching.

Iris' products include Subar video inspections systems and SeeSeaTV marine camera systems.

"Few things excite us more than offering our customers the newest and most innovative marine electronics available on the market," said Edward Winder, president of Win-tron Electronics, in a statement. "Iris Innovations have established themselves in a few short years as market leaders in this exciting and expanding sector. We look forward to building a solid long-term relationship with them."

Dr. Shrink added a distributor in Germany.

MR Personnel and Industrial Services in Emden will provide sales and support to German shrink-wrap customers.

"We trust Mike Renn to provide excellent service to Germany," Dr. Shrink president Mike Stenberg said in a statement. "He and his wife, Claudia, have continuously grown their company, just like we have, and they'll be invaluable partners in Germany."

Cobalt Boats said 21 of its dealerships were ranked in Boating Industry magazine's Top 100 Dealers list.

"We appreciate the effort and commitment that it takes to be recognized as a Top 100 dealer and we salute those dealerships that take the time and effort to participate," Cobalt vice president Gavan Hunt said in a statement. "Cobalt and our dealer partners focus on total customer satisfaction as the cornerstones of success."

Torqeedo GmbH will handle sales, service and distribution support for France in an effort to better serve dealers, boatbuilders and distributors of its electric outboards and accessories.

Erwan Grandpierre recently joined the Torqeedo team and represents the company throughout France.

Grandpierre spent eight years with Kent Marine Equipment in successively responsible positions. He has been the company's representative for the Torqeedo brand for three years.

"Serving the French market directly and adding Erwan Grandpierre to our team will allow us to provide better support to our dealers, and ultimately the consumers who use our products," said Christoph Ballin, managing director for Torqeedo GmbH, in a statement.
