Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from United Yacht Sales, Tri Vantage and Vesper Marine.

United Yacht Sales, in Stuart, Fla., will represent Prestige Yachts in North America.

Tri Vantage, a distributor of fabrics, hardware, accessories and cordage for the awning, marine and furniture industries, added Makrolon polycarbonate sheets to its product line.

Made by Bayer MaterialScience, Makrolon is known for glass-like clarity, along with impact strength, stability and thermal resistance. Makrolon can be sewn into a number of marine enclosures.

"Makrolon has been used for a number of years in numerous applications, such as automotive, transportation, optical media and construction, where optical clarity is first and foremost," Tri Vantage marine products manager Tom Koster said in a statement. "In order to make this product available to our customers we have developed unique packaging that allows Makrolon polycarbonate sheets to be packaged and shipped economically and safely."

New Zealand's Vesper Marine, a maker of marine safety products, added four new partners to its growing international distribution network.

The latest additions are Electronics Marine in Chile, Al Nakheel Electronics in the United Arab Emirates, Marine Electronics SA in Switzerland and Pochon in France.

All four partners will distribute Vesper's entire line of Automatic Identification System collision avoidance technology products to an extensive dealer network and provide marketing and technical support.

"Our new relationship with Electronics Marine, Al Nakheel Electronics, Marine Electronics SA and Pochon supports our commitment to bring and support high-quality AIS collision avoidance technology to boaters around the world," Mike Ogle, general manager of sales and marketing at Vesper, said in a statement. "These strategic partners have a record of success in their respective markets and understand how to create business value by showing customers the benefits of safety-focused marine electronics."

Vesper's AIS product line is represented by more than 70 resellers and retailer outlets in 18 countries around the world.
