Cutwater Boats recently named its first North American dealers. New dealer locations include:

"Given that Cutwater Boats are trailerable, diesel-powered and have semiplaning hulls, locations that have access to coastal and inland cruising ports are ideal for owners of these boats. We are interested in dealers who have demonstrated strong sales success with their existing lines and who have long-lasting relationships with their customers," national sales manager Mark Mansfield said in a statement.

Malibu Boats dealers nationwide are holding a demo day on April 30.
"These dealers are demonstrating the truth on the water and exposing boat buyers to 2011 Malibu models and innovations firsthand," the company said in a statement. "Attendees will have the opportunity to test 2011 Malibu boats, like the Riders Choice Boat of the Year Wakesetter VLX, the newly redesigned Wakesetter 247 LSV and the world record-breaking Response LXi."

Cobalt Boats recently appointed Legendary Marine as its exclusive new-boat dealer for the Gulf Coast of Florida.
All four Legendary Marine dealership locations - Panama City, Destin and Fort Walton Beach, Fla., and Gulf Shores, Ala. - will stock and sell the full line of Cobalt boats.
"We are very pleased to have secured a new dealer relationship with Legendary Marine because this dealership clearly embodies the same values as Cobalt in the areas of high-quality customer service and sales professionalism," Cobalt vice president of sales and marketing Gavan Hunt said in a statement.
"Legendary Marine is recognized as a national sales and marketing leader and has built a solid reputation as a top retail sales and service performer," he added. "We're looking forward to working together to further build the Cobalt brand in the Gulf Coast and expect to enjoy a long and successful future together."
In addition to Cobalt, Legendary Marine represents Marquis, Four Winns, Sea Hunt, Hydra-Sports, Chris-Craft, Hurricane, Riviera, Carver, Everglades and Ranger boats, along with power partners Volvo, MerCruiser and Yamaha.

Maretron appointed Asia Diesel as a distributor for the Taiwanese and Chinese boatbuilder and aftermarket sales channels.
"With Asia Diesel, Maretron has a very well-respected and capable distributor partner who also has a strong technical expertise, which should help us react to these fast-growing and important Asian markets in a much more timely fashion," Maretron vice president of sales and marketing Larry Anderson said in a statement.
Asia Diesel will display the Maretron product range at the 2011 Shanghai International Boat Show.

U.S. manufacturer Kahlenberg Industries appointed a new company, Kahlenberg U.K. Ltd., to handle the distribution of its full range of marine and industrial sound signals, sound signal controls, air compressors and accessories across all of Europe except Italy.
Kahlenberg UK Ltd. was created from the success of sister company du Pré Marine after its appointment as an agent for Kahlenberg in 2009.
Kahlenberg U.K. Ltd. will be based at the group headquarters in Newbury, Berkshire, and benefit from an existing full-service environment, including in-house marketing, administration and stockholding. The company can instantly ship popular models and common spares from stock.
"We're really excited about this new initiative and confident that [the new venture] will provide excellent factory-backed sales and support across Europe for leisure, commercial and naval customers. Kahlenberg is investing heavily in its product range, and the establishment of a base in Europe will allow us to promote and support the demand we see from the EU more effectively," Kahlenberg Industries vice president Erick Kahlenberg said in a statement.
