Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Regal Marine, Nautic Group, Pier Genius, MacDougalls' Cape Cod Marine Service and KVH Industries.

Regal Marine announced that Southern California dealer Newport Boats will now offer the complete Regal line from 19 to 52 feet.

Newport Boats has two sales and service locations, one in Newport Beach and the other in Corona.

"Newport Boats' history of superlative customer care and award-winning service is a perfect match with Regal's philosophy of developing products designed and built to ensure that Regal owners experience an exceptionally high level of customer satisfaction," Regal president and CEO Duane Kuck said in a statement.

The Nautic Group was named the new Carver Yachts dealer for the Texas market and will provide sales and service from its Kemah, Texas, location.

"The Nautic Group is an outstanding organization, with a keen focus on customer satisfaction and ownership pride. Their passion for the marine industry and their refined business model will no doubt position them for long-term success, exactly what is needed to serve the needs of our customers in this key market," Carver vice president Erik Nelson said in a statement.

The Nautic Group will feature its first Carver yacht - a 2011 36 Mariner - this week at the South West International Boat Show, which runs through the weekend in Houston.

"The addition of Carver will allow us to expand our services to better serve the needs of the cruising yachtsman," said Kevin Kaiser, chairman and founder of The Nautic Group, in a statement. "I have inspected and admired the Carver line for many years. Being able to represent the brand in Texas provides us with great opportunity."

Pier Genius' anti-sway dock frames are now available through, which sells Pier Genius dock products through the online shopping site.

"We're glad to have chosen Pier Genius as our main dock supplier," owner Bill Howe said in a statement. "Their lightweight anti-sway frames are an excellent, unique product. Pier Genius has a good reputation and we're pleased to be one of their dealers." is an online retailer of marine products and accessories, including hard-to-find merchandise. MacDougalls' Cape Cod Marine Service signed on as a dealer and servicing installer for Seakeeper Gyro Stabilization Systems.

"Seakeeper is the most innovative product of its kind on the market today," MacDougalls' service manager Daniel Vullemier said in a statement. "We're impressed by their ability to attract the interest of, and partner with, world-class manufacturers, such as Viking, Sunseeker and Azimut. Located on five acres on Falmouth Harbor near Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket, Mass., MacDougalls' operates a 100-slip marina while providing expertise in refit engineering and project management.

Dealers who sell TracVision and TracPhone products from KVH Industries recently rated the company's service as "world-class" for the sixth consecutive year, leading the Omega Management Group to honor KVH with its NorthFace ScoreBoard Award.

To receive the award, companies must consistently achieve outstanding marks for customer satisfaction and loyalty in such categories as technical support, field service, customer service and account management.
