Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Beacon Point Marine, Transhield Inc. and Mastervolt.

Beacon Point Marine, located in the Cos Cob section of Greenwich, Conn., announced it is now a Marine Industry Five-Star Certified Dealership.

The certification program provides dealers with a set of criteria designed to create continuous improvement across all departments and, in turn, develop processes for meeting and exceeding customer expectations.

The criteria and business best practices address the quality of dealer sales, service, parts, follow-up and facilities, as well as employee and customer satisfaction.

Criteria compliance is verified by an independent program consultant and dealers are re-evaluated every year to ensure that they continue to meet the requirements.
