Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Crusader Yacht Sales, Aqualuma, Crestliner, Contender Boats, Nautique and Cannons Marina.

Crusader Yacht Sales announced that after 30 years of ownership Nancy Cann sold the business to Mike Titgemeyer of Annapolis, Md.

“It is great to have Mike as the new president of Crusader, as I know he will keep our strong company culture, as well as guide the company to new heights. I look forward to remaining involved with the company for a long time to ensure a smooth transition and to continue doing what I love — without the strains of ownership,” Cann said in a statement.

Titgemeyer is a lifelong sailor and a certified yacht broker. He has held various positions within the sailing industry during the last 25 years, including rigger, sail maker, service manager, national sales manager for Tartan Yachts and regional manager for Tartan C&C Yacht Sales of Annapolis.

Cann will remain with Crusader Yacht Sales in a general manager role for the foreseeable future and will gradually taper her Crusader responsibilities.

Crusader is a leading broker and dealer for Tartan, C&C, Malo, Legacy & Bruckmann Yachts in Annapolis.

Crestliner announced the addition of 11 dealers to its network.

They are:

Additionally, a Crestliner dealer said it is expanding by adding a location. Boomerang Marine and Sports in Alexandria, Minn., is introducing a second location to expand the service and sales it provides from its original location in Melrose, Minn.

Contender Boats recently signed 12 new dealers, the Florida-based builder of custom tournament fishing boats announced.

Nautique added 31 dealerships to its network during the last several months.

“We are excited to add these 31 dealership locations that will provide a greater number of people with the opportunity to experience the Nautique lifestyle and become a part of the Nautique family,” president/CEO Bill Yeargin said in a statement.

Correct Craft Inc. is the producer of Nautique boats.

Cannons Marina, in Longboat Key, Fla., received the 2011 Admiral's Circle Award from Grady-White Boats.

This is the 13th consecutive year that Grady-White has honored the dealership.

“This is such an honor. By receiving this award we know that we're keeping our customers happy, and that is the most important thing to us and the best compliment of all,” owner David Miller said in a statement. “We think Grady-White is one of the top boat brands out there. We love selling these boats, and because they are such a high-quality product it makes our job easy.”

Admiral's Circle membership is reserved for the top dealerships in the Grady-White network. They have achieved more than $1 million in retail sales for the model year and have earned Grady-White's Service Excellence award, with customer satisfaction index scores exceeding 9.25 on a 10-point scale in customer surveys.
