Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Breakwater Marine, Carver Yachts, Westerbeke Corp. and Raymarine.

Breakwater Marine is the newest dealer to join aluminum-boat builder Jetcraft’s network.

Breakwater Marine, with locations in Everett and Ferndale, Wash., will specialize in models from 16 to 20 feet, including the new Jetcraft 2025 Discovery.

“Our constantly-expanding dealer network is a direct reflection of our growing market share in North America,” Todd Harris, Jetcraft business manager, said in a statement. “Having a new dealer of the caliber of Breakwater Marine reinforces the message to boaters and anglers that Jetcraft and its dealer partners represent the very best in the marine industry today.”

WestWinn Group is the builder of Jetcraft and Kingfisher boats.

Carver Yachts announced today a long-term partnership with Breakwater Marine, which now serves as its authorized dealer representative servicing the Pacific Northwest market.

“We are proud to confirm a strong partnership for a very important market for Carver Yachts,” Carver vice president of sales and marketing Erik Nelson said in a statement. “This is an extremely dedicated organization committed to providing extraordinary service to all their customers. Their reputation speaks for itself in this region, and the dedicated team of sales and service professionals throughout the Pacific Northwest will provide an unmatched network of support and information for all our customers in this market.”

Breakwater will be showcasing new Carver models, including the 54 Voyager and 44 Sojourn, Jan. 27-Feb. 5 at the Seattle Boat Show.

Westerbeke Corp. appointed Advance Yacht Systems as a master distributor for the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

AYS specializes in engines, generators, inverters/chargers, electrical power management, air conditioning and watermakers.

“As keen sailors, both bluewater cruising and racing, the AYS staff brings an enthusiasm to the marine industry, providing the customer satisfaction they would expect themselves,” Westerbeke said in a statement. “Westerbeke is pleased to be a part of this endeavor.”

Raymarine presented 2011 awards at this year’s annual Raymarine U.K. and Ireland dealer conference.

Aztec Marine, of Southampton, was awarded the U.K. Service Dealer of the Year Award, while TCS Chandlery, of Essex, was awarded the U.K. Retail Centre of the Year Award.

"It's a difficult market at the moment, and it has given my team a real boost to be recognized for all the hard work they're doing,” Aztec’s David Freeman said in a statement.
