Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Glasstream Powerboats, Dometic Marine, Ultra Dynamics Inc. and Ocean Signal.

Glasstream Powerboats announced that Barney’s Motorcycle & Marine, based in St. Petersburg, Fla., was added to its dealer network.

“We at Glasstream continue to focus on developing long-term partnerships in the marine industry and are excited to have Barney's Motorcycle & Marine become part of the Glasstream family,” Glasstream said in a statement.

“Since their beginning they have become one of St. Petersburg, Fla.'s leading dealers of motorcycle and marine products,” the company added. “Their vision mirrors that of Glasstream's with an ongoing commitment to providing superior service and developing relationships.”

Dometic Marine announced it is expanding its dealer network in southwest England with the appointment of PR Nautica.

Based in Plymouth, PR Nautica will handle sales of Dometic’s Cruisair and Marine Air air-conditioning systems, SeaLand sanitation and Waeco products to OEM and aftermarket customers in the region.

“We are delighted to have been appointed by Dometic Marine. We offer an extensive range of engineered system products, and so the addition of Dometic’s air-conditioning, sanitation and Waeco products complements our existing portfolio perfectly, giving us a full system range for on-board comfort,” PR Nautica operations director Ian Webb said in a statement.

Ultra Dynamics Inc. signed on Power Products Systems LLC, of Wakefield, Mass., as the UltraJet distributor in New England.

Power Products will sell and support the UltraJet line of marine jet drives and controls, including its JetMaster Joystick Control systems.

“We are excited to be associated with and supported by the professional folks at Power Products. Their commitment to customer service was a match to our approach in the market, and this relationship will better support our customers in the region through Power Products’ multiple locations,” Ultra Dynamics vice president Jim Campbell said in a statement.

Communications and safety-at-sea specialist Ocean Signal strengthened its presence in Italy with the appointment of A Bordo Group as the dedicated country distributor.

A Bordo will be responsible for distributing Ocean Signal’s entire SafeSea range of Global Maritime Distress and Safety System products, which includes the E100/E100G EPIRB series, the S100 SART and the V100 GMDSS Handheld Radio.

“We are delighted to have been appointed by Ocean Signal and are confident about expanding its distribution in Italy. The SafeSea product range offers easy battery replacement, as well as superior battery performance, making it an ideal fit for our existing portfolio of marine electronics, safety and navigation equipment,” A Bordo Group managing director Claudio Brunello said in a statement.
