Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Ocean Signal and Mist-er Comfort.

Ocean Signal, a communications and safety-at-sea specialist based in the U.K., named Taylor Marine its dedicated Australian distributor.

Based in Henderson, Western Australia, and Brisbane, Queensland, Taylor will be responsible for distributing Ocean Signal’s SafeSea range of Global Maritime Distress Safety System products, which are fully approved for use by Australian-registered vessels.

“We are excited to have been appointed by Ocean Signal as its dedicated distributor for the Australian market. The SafeSea portfolio offers easy battery replacement and superior battery performance, so we are confident about being able to grow sales of the product range and look forward to working with the team at Ocean Signal moving forward,” Taylor Marine managing director David Maitland said in a statement.

U.S. marine misting systems manufacturer Mist-er-Comfort chose Recreational Marine Consulting to support development of the distribution network for the company’s product line in Europe and the Middle East.

Based in Pepinster, Belgium, Recreational Marine Consulting is headed by Ted Fagerburg, who has more than 35 years of marine product sales and marketing experience, including 28 years with Mercury Marine in Europe.
