Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from the Larson Boat Group and Sea Force IX.

The Larson Boat Group reached 39 new dealer agreements across its Larson, Triumph and Striper brands during the 2012 model year.

“Our continued investment in exciting new models and the marketing that supports them, combined with a factory team dedicated to the overall success of our dealer partners, is really making a positive impact on the strength of our dealer network,” Larson executive vice president and COO Mike O’Connell said.

Coconut Grove, Fla.-based sport yacht builder Sea Force IX named Yachting Experts as its central exclusive agent for Florida's Dade and Monroe counties, the Bahamas, Caribbean, and Central and South America.

"We met Yachting Experts principals Frank and Betty De Varona when we built our first yacht," Sea Force IX president & CEO Ron Rookstool said in a statement. "Honor, credibility and family-oriented values — that's what they mean to us. We are a family-oriented company; my wife, Gail, and three sons are all involved in Sea Force IX. Frank and Betty also run a family business. It felt like a good fit."

Rookstool also said the Sea Force IX line requires someone who has a passion shared by his family.

“In particular, we are looking forward to their help in reaching Spanish-speaking yacht owners in their sales territory," Rookstool said.

"We are very excited to represent Sea Force IX," Yachting Experts president Betty De Varona said. "In order to supplement our already strong new boat offerings, we had been looking for a line of larger, custom yachts built on passion and performance that will meet the needs and expectations of our customer base. We have found it in Sea Force IX — Rook, Gail and their team thrive on producing the ultimate experience and ride."
