Coconut Grove, Fla.-based sport yacht builder Sea Force IX named Yachting Experts as its central exclusive agent for Florida's Dade and Monroe counties, the Bahamas, Caribbean, and Central and South America.

"We met Yachting Experts principals Frank and Betty De Varona when we built our first yacht," Sea Force IX president & CEO Ron Rookstool said in a statement. "Honor, credibility and family-oriented values — that's what they mean to us. We are a family-oriented company; my wife, Gail, and three sons are all involved in Sea Force IX. Frank and Betty also run a family business. It felt like a good fit."

Rookstool also said the Sea Force IX line requires someone who has a passion shared by his family.

“In particular, we are looking forward to their help in reaching Spanish-speaking yacht owners in their sales territory," Rookstool said.

"We are very excited to represent Sea Force IX," Yachting Experts president Betty De Varona said. "In order to supplement our already strong new boat offerings, we had been looking for a line of larger, custom yachts built on passion and performance that will meet the needs and expectations of our customer base. We have found it in Sea Force IX — Rook, Gail and their team thrive on producing the ultimate experience and ride."
