United Yacht Sales announced that Clarks Landing Yacht Brokers in Maryland will be the company’s exclusive affiliate in the Chesapeake Bay region.

Clarks Landing has been serving boaters from Maryland to New Jersey for more than 15 years, selling all brands of new and used boats, so it is the logical choice in United Yacht’s expansion in the Mid-Atlantic, United Yacht said.

“Teaming up with United Yacht Sales benefits boaters in the Mid Atlantic area with our physical presence and [their] reputation and far-reaching marketing and advertising,” Clarks Landing managing partner Jeff Truesdale said in a statement.

“This new partnership further solidifies United Yacht as the pre-eminent yacht brokerage firm in the country and Clarks Landing as the dominant force in the region,” United Yacht founder and CEO Peter Schmidt said in a statement.

Christened United Yacht Sales at Clarks Landing, the new venture will focus on growing market share in the Mid-Atlantic region, with planned office openings in strategic boating areas in Maryland, Delaware and Virginia.
