This week’s roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Baja Marine, B3C Fuel Solutions LLC and Aquatic AV.

Baja Marine, parent company of the Baja, Donzi, Fountain and Pro-Line boat brands, signed two new dealer partners for Pro-Line Boats.

Avalon Marine Center in Avalon, N.J., and Long Island Boat Center in West Babylon, N.Y., now offer the full line of Pro-Line fishing boats from 20 to 32 feet.

New-boat dealership Long Island Boat Center was opened by J.J. Sirel and Harold Baldauf earlier this year to serve boaters on Great South Bay and Long Island Sound. In addition to Pro-Line, the dealership represents Baja and Mercury Marine. Boating industry veterans Sirel and Baldauf also operate the well-known JJ’s Marine Service in West Babylon, which was established in 1996.

Avalon Marine Center is a full-service facility serving boaters on the New Jersey shore. The property escaped major damage from Hurricane Sandy. Owned by Phil Risko, the business incorporates a 106-slip marina, indoor rack and outdoor storage facility, a new-boat dealership, marine service yard and ship’s store. In addition to Pro-Line, it represents Avalon Pontoon Boats.

B3C Fuel Solutions LLC, a manufacturer of environmentally friendly products and solutions for ethanol- and biofuel-related problems, said HSI, a division of Hydraulic Source, is the exclusive distributor of B3C’s core line of fuel solution products in Canada.

The Canadian relationship complements B3C’s recent international expansion into Australia and continues B3C’s growing international presence. Hydraulic Source Inc. is a full-service warehouse and sales/marketing office dedicated to the promotion of foreign manufacturers in Canada.

HSI will operate as the exclusive Canadian distributor of B3C Fuel Solution’s core suite of products, including its core brands Mechanic In A Bottle, Ethanol Shield and Diesel Mechanic In A Bottle. As the exclusive Canadian distributor, HSI will work with Canadian outdoor power equipment dealers and automotive, commercial, industrial and heavy-duty accounts.

“HSI has always looked to partner with manufacturers of innovative products that are solution-based,” HSI national sales manager James Chalmers said in a statement. “Our interest in B3C is that they aren’t just another fuel additive company. They’ve identified major problems with today’s fuel and have created modern solutions. We know how well these products work. We use them in our own equipment at the warehouse, in many of our personal recreational vehicles and in our own cars.”

Marine audio manufacturer Aquatic AV appointed Marintek to distribute its product range in Turkey.

“Aquatic AV’s reputation for producing innovative and robust AV products for the marine market makes this an attractive product line to add to our growing electronics product portfolio,” Marintek electronic products manager Kerem Cakir said in a statement.

Aquatic AV products are designed and made to withstand marine conditions using stainless steel and other specially coated metals and gaskets, silicone and other materials to fill in air gaps to prevent water from damaging or destroying audio components.
