Dealers and Distributors

This week’s roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Top Notch Marine, Mercury Marine and Aquatic AV.

Top Notch Marine opened a new location in Pompano Beach, Fla.

Top Notch purchased and renovated a waterfront building at 651 South Federal Highway. The 35,000-square-foot building, which has been vacant for the last five years, is now home to Top Notch's third and largest waterfront location.

Top Notch will be adding as many as 20 jobs to the local economy in sales and service. It is the dealer for Sea Fox, Pro-Line and Key Largo fishing boats, Cobalt and Glastron sportboats and Bennington pontoon boats.

Top Notch will hold a grand opening Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. that will include prize giveaways, special sale prices and discounted financing throughout the weekend.

Marine audio manufacturer Aquatic AV appointed AE Distributing to carry and distribute its product range in California.

Based in Van Nuys, Calif., AE Distributing serves more than 250 dealers of mobile electronics products.

“We are pleased to be distributing the Aquatic AV line,” AE general manager John Haynes said in a statement. “Other audio products sold to boaters are basically automotive-grade products adapted for marine use and typically do not meet water intrusion standards. Aquatic AV products are designed and manufactured to withstand the harsh conditions of the marine environment, using stainless steel and other specially coated metals and gaskets, silicone and other materials to fill in air gaps to prevent water from damaging or destroying audio components.”
