Dealers and Distributors

This week’s roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Greenline Hybrid, Baja Marine, Bertram Yacht, Nordic Tugs and Monterey Boats.

Denison Yacht Sales was named the Florida and California dealer for Greenline Hybrid, the world's first serial production hybrid yacht.

Denison will offer the full line of Greenline yachts, including the 33, 40 and 46 Flybridge and the OceanClass line, featuring the 57, 70 and 88 bluewater cruising range of super-displacement hybrid yachts.

Greenline Hybrid yachts are powered with a diesel/electric drive system. The lithium polymer batteries are charged by a photovoltaic panel system on the roof that converts sunlight into electricity while at the dock or at anchor. Greenline Hybrid brings an economical cost of use, sustainability, a low carbon footprint, efficient hull design and silent operation while under electric power. Since it began production of the Greenline 33 in 2010, the company has delivered more than 300 hybrid boats to 28 countries in the first three years of production.

Greenline yachts are produced in Slovenia and Italy by The Seaway Group, a provider of design, engineering and tooling to boatbuilders, including Beneteau, Bavaria Group, Brunswick, Azimut, Fairline and Dufour. In addition to Greenline Hybrid and OceanClass, The Seaway Group also builds Shipman Carbon Yachts and Skagen Motoryachts. The Greenline 40 Hybrid received an Active Interest Media Editor's Choice Award at the 2012 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

Denison is a full-service yacht brokerage, yacht charter and yacht service firm with marina offices in Fort Lauderdale and St. Petersburg, Fla.; Marina del Rey and Newport Beach, Calif.; San Carlos, Mexico; and Holland, Mich.
