This week’s roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Dillon Marina and Yachting Experts.

Dillon Marina in Dillon, Colo., recently joined the nearly 600 marinas and fuel docks nationwide offering ValvTect Marine Fuels.

Dillon Marina is on the shores of Dillon Reservoir and is one of North America’s highest marinas and one of the highest in the world. In the alpine environment the annual snowfall average is more than 230 inches, average water fluctuations are 10 to 20 feet a year and can change as much as 60 feet. The marina has 260 long-term slips and 36 short-term slips and occupies a 56-acre footprint on 6 acres of land and more than 6,000 feet of docks.

In 2012 more than 55,000 guests visited the marina, whose amenities include a sailing school, boat rentals, recreational activities and restaurants.

Yachting Experts in South Florida is representing the new 2013 81.5 Special Edition Performance Open Bridge Sport Yacht by Sea Force IX as the builder’s central exclusive agent in Florida’s Dade and Monroe counties, the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.

Featuring standard twin 2,600-bhp DDC/MTU 16V2000 diesels, the new Sea Force IX 81.5 Special Edition combines bespoke luxury with a top speed of as much as 40 knots, a 32-knot economical cruise speed and a 3,000-mile range at 10 knots.

“MTU 16V2000’s are ‘must-have’ engines for today’s large sportfishing yachts due to their excellent power-to-weight ratio,” Yachting Experts dealer principal Frank De Varona said in a statement. “With this propulsion package as standard equipment the Special Edition 81.5 Open Bridge makes an ideal yacht for our clients who are tournament-level anglers, as well as for those who like to cruise the world hunting for big gamefish and adventure.”
