Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Danish Yachts, Vanquish Boats and Monterey Boats.

Skagen, Denmark-based Danish Yachts is expanding into North and South America with Bradford Marine.

Danish Yachts A/S CEO Patrik von Sydow and Paul Engle, president of the Bradford Marine companies, with shipyards in Fort Lauderdale and Freeport in the Bahamas, said Bradford Marine will be the exclusive representative for Danish Yachts’ sales and service in North and South America.

"We are pleased to have a shipyard with Bradford Marine’s reputation providing our sales and service needs in the Americas,” von Sydow said in a statement.

“We now provide the American yachtsmen the best of European design, engineering and luxury interiors, coupled with the highest level of warranty and service," Danish Yachts’ new business development director, Jim Ross, said in a statement.

"We want Danish Yacht owners to know that they have Bradford Marine at their side throughout their yachting experience," Engle said in a statement. "Our service technicians will work directly with Danish Yachts to keep every vessel in top condition for flawless enjoyment.”

Vanquish Boats welcomed Dave Bofill Marine to its family of dealers.

Dave Bofill Marine is in Southampton, N.Y., and is opening a second location at the Brewer Yacht Yard in Glen Cove, N.Y. It is the exclusive dealer for all of Long Island and New York’s five boroughs.

“As a family-run business ourselves we are always excited to work with a family-run dealership,” Vanquish president Morgan Huntley said in a statement. “Both of the Dave Bofill Marine locations are in the heart of the Long Island boating community, and we think that there is huge opportunity in the Long Island market.”

Vanquish also announced the addition of Annapolis (Md.) Yacht Sales to its family of dealers.

Established in 1953, Annapolis Yacht Sales is run by Rob Taishoff and Chris Humphreys.

“We are thrilled to add Annapolis Yacht Sales as our dealer in the Chesapeake,” Huntley said in a statement. “Since our inception, our business model has been to find the highest-quality dealers in target markets. Annapolis Yacht Sales has a longstanding reputation as a good dealership and reflects our own company values perfectly.”

Monterey Boats added three new dealers: Town & Country Marine in Ontario, Canada, The Marine Collection in South Burlington, Vt., and Quartermaster Marine in Prince Edward Island, Canada.

Town & Country Marine is ranked in the top 100 boat dealers in North America. It is a family-owned dealership located in the heart of the Kawarthas and the Trent Severn waterway.

The Marine Collection was founded more than 30 years ago and is a full-service dealer for Yamaha outboards and Volvo-Penta and Mercury/Mercruiser marine engines and outdrives. It also offers service for Airstream trailers and Vespa Scooters.
