Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Chaparral and Robalo, Wesmar, Galati, Coast Distribution, Navimo USA, Lear Electric Boats and Aqua Yacht Harbor.
Chaparral and Robalo Boats recently completed its 45th annual worldwide dealer conference which was themed, "A Story of Strength and Stamina ... Now and for the Future."
Held at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Fla., the conference featured the christening of Chaparral's new 310 Signature, 186 SSi Wide Tech sport boat and 204 Extreme towboat.
There were 112 dealerships represented, with international participation from the United Kingdom, Turkey, Germany, Spain and Venezuela.
Forty-eight dealers were honored at the annual awards ceremony. Additionally, a dealer panel was assembled to share insights and answer questions about the best way to grow in today's economy.
"We have always felt that new boats are key," president Jim Lane said in a statement. "Despite the challenges of today's market, we haven't slowed our new product development at all. We also believe that strong dealer support from our Chaparral and Robalo dealer network is more important now than ever before."

Wesmar appointed Hispano Radio Maritima, S.A. as dealer for its commercial fishing, pleasure boat, and government business in Spain.
The arrangement is for exclusive representation for Wesmar, except for the Galician coastal fishing fleet.
Hispano Radio is based in Madrid and operates eight branch sales and service offices throughout the country.
"We are pleased to have a company of Hispano Radio's stature representing us and they, along with the companies that have traditionally worked with Wesmar equipment, will expand Wesmar's product lines throughout Spain," said Carlo Voli, Wesmar's sales manager for Spain, in a statement.

Galati Yacht Sales launched a new Web site, which will highlight the company's new-boat brands - Viking, Tiara, Cruisers, Marquis and Sea Force - as well as the Galati trade-ins and its worldwide brokerage offerings.
"We want to ensure that every visitor to our site receives the same professional and courteous experience as our face-to-face customers," said vice president Carmine Galati, in a statement. "We asked YachtWorld.com to build our new site because of their knowledge and experience of what the site visitor is looking for."
Features of the new site include ease of navigation and prompt access to information as a result of Galati Boat Shopper, manufacturer pages and features to help users stay up-to-date on current events and specials bring offered, as well as event reminders.

Coast Distribution announces its second DirectSuccess Dealer Advantage Program, with a bigger fall order book and a revamped section on its Web site. The program, called DirectSuccess 2.0, offers a package of new products and financial incentives designed to deliver enhanced profits and cost savings directly to dealers.
This year's fall order book combines a large selection RV and marine products into one offering, giving dealers an opportunity to cross-sell. Qualifying purchases earn points for dealers, which can be redeemed for free products.
Using the Web-based DirectSuccess program, dealers can access new product information, check out a full range of vendor opportunities, see special product flyers and promotions, review program benefits, dating, plan-o-grams, and product order forms.
Central to the program is the Supplier Showcase, where participating suppliers can show their products any way they prefer, from PDF brochures to animation, and full video.
The Coast Distribution System is a leading North American manufacturer and distributor of recreational products and outdoor power equipment.

Denmark-based Andersen Winches appointed Navimo USA as its exclusive U.S. distributor. Andersen manufactures a full range of stainless-steel sheet winches, bailers and other products for sailing yachts from 20 to 200 feet.
Navimo USA, part of the Navimo Group, markets the Plastimo, Max-Power, Goiot, Nuova Rade, DNS, Master Windlass and Manson Anchor brands.
"The addition of the Andersen Winches line is very exciting as it adds a key line to the portfolio of sailing product that we can offer as a package in the U.S.," said Chris Lang, president of Navimo USA, in a statement.

Lear Electric Boats Mid-Atlantic, the newest marine dealer of the Lear Electric Boat line, will display its new 72-volt, all-electric retractable hardtop cruiser Oct. 15-18 at the United States Power Boat Show in Annapolis, Md.
Maryland dealers Ron and Connie Olsen said the Lear Electric Boat features a new, more powerful drive system that is quiet, non-polluting and environmentally friendly. The new system doubles the voltage and has a more powerful motor.
The Lear 204 measures 20 feet, 4 inches overall with a beam of 8 feet, 6 inches. The draft from water line to bottom of the keel is 22 inches. Bridge clearance, with the top up, is 6 feet, 7 inches; with the top down, the bridge clearance is 4 feet, 3 inches.

Aqua Yacht Harbor is hosting Demo Days Weekend Oct. 17-18 at its full-service marina on Mississippi's Pickwick Lake.
Marine Sales of Pickwick will be on hand with boats such as Meridian Yachts, Sea Ray sportboats and cruisers and Cobalt Boats. Sea trials will be offered to familiarize boaters with the many brands and models available.
Demo Days Weekend will be on Aqua Yacht Harbor's C Dock from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. Enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs and live music. Aqua Yacht Harbor is easily accessible by land or water and there is plenty of free parking and free daytime transient dockage.
