MarineMax says MarineMax Arizona selected towboat builder Malibu Boats to bring its line of water ski, wakeboard and sportboats to Phoenix, Tempe and the surrounding areas.

"By adding Malibu to our lineup of premium boats and yachts, MarineMax continues to enhance its position as 'the complete marine retailer,' maximizing every aspect of our customers' time on the water," said Bill McGill, president, CEO and chairman of the company, in a statement.

MarineMax Arizona has been named the No. 1 dealer in Arizona for 11 years in a row and features one of the largest water-sports pro shops in the country.

Everglades reports it is seeing, in recent years, the largest influx of new dealers joining the central Florida-based manufacturer.

"It's impressive. We have worked diligently to continually upgrade and grow our family of Everglades dealers," president Stephen Dougherty said in a statement. "The word is getting out and our work is definitely paying off."

McLaughlin Boat Works named Dinghy Locker at Landfall as its newest distributor.

The agreement helps McLaughlin increase its presence in southwestern Connecticut and the Hudson Valley while strengthening Dinghy Locker's position as a complete solution for performance and youth sailors.

"Since launching Dinghy Locker at Landfall in 2008, we have been working to become the destination for competitive dinghy sailors," president and founder Capt. Henry Marx said in a statement. "With the addition of the McLaughlin line, we now have everything a small boat sailor could want."

As a result of the partnership, McLaughlin and Dinghy Locker will work together to promote performance and youth sailing through a variety of in-store, online and on-site marketing programs.

Distributor CWR Electronics and Fusion have experienced tremendous growth in the sale of marine audio systems and speakers, CWR said in a release.

Year-to-date, CWR's Fusion sales are up 48.7 percent, according to CWR. June was the best month ever with Fusion selling more than 250 stereo units. Overall, Fusion has grown to be the best-selling stereo for CWR.

"We have brought our marine audio category to the next level with Fusion," CWR president Brian Swanke said in a statement. "Fusion's commitment to innovation can be seen through our increasing sales, as well as through their public recognition."

Distributor Win-tron Electronics was named a North American distributor of the complete line of inverter/chargers and accessories made by Magnum Energy, based in Everett, Wash.

"We are excited to add Magnum Energy's offerings to our growing stable of marine electronics," Win-tron president Edward Winder said in a statement. "At a time when more and more dealers and OEMs are looking for sources of high-quality, reliable inverter/chargers for renewable energy uses the addition of the Magnum Energy line more than allows us meet those needs."

Grand Banks Northwest, the Northwest's Grand Banks authorized dealer, is moving to a new retail location in early August.

The company's new offices will be located in Salmon Bay Marine Center in Seattle. An open house will take place Aug. 27-28 to celebrate the new location, providing guests the opportunity to tour the location as well as several new and used yachts for sale.

The new facility provides larger, ground-floor retail space, complete with mooring space on modern, concrete docks. The new retail location will feature new Grand Banks models and a wide selection of brokerage yachts.
