Dealers and Distributors

Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Dr. Shrink and Regulator Marine.

International premium shrink-wrap supplier Dr. Shrink was named Distributor of the Year by Shrinkfast Marketing. Dr. Shrink's sales, marketing and service for the Shrinkfast 998 and 975 Heat Tool Kits helped it earn the honor, the manufacturer said.

"It means a lot to us to be recognized by one of our vendors, and we're very honored by this award," said Dr. Shrink president Mike Stenberg.

The 975 is entering its 30th year of production. Dr. Shrink is based in Manistee, Mich., and has distributors worldwide.

Regulator Marine announced that Ireland Yacht Sales on Sanibel Island, Fla., is now one of its dealers. On the southern tip of the island near Fort Myers, the facility includes a full-service marina that the Ireland family has owned and operated since 1985.

"We are pleased and proud to have Ireland Yacht Sales and the Ireland family representing Regulator on the Gulf Coast of Florida," said Joan Maxwell, president of Regulator Marine. "Their dedication to offshore sportfishing and customer satisfaction make them the ideal partners for Regulator Boats in South Florida."

In addition to a restaurant, Ireland's Sanibel Marina offers transient slips, boat rentals, charters, sightseeing cruises, fuel, a ships store and Wi-Fi connections. The marina is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily and it monitors VHF channel 16.

"Our family has had a love for the sea and boating for many generations. At Ireland Yacht Sales, we take pride and careful consideration for the boats we sell," owner Myton Ireland said.
