Dealers and Distributors

Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Yachting Experts International Brokers, Langer-Krell Marine and KVH Industries.

Yachting Experts International Brokers was named the exclusive dealer for the South Florida counties of Miami-Dade and Monroe for Australia's Riviera Yachts and its entire line of motoryachts and express cruisers from 35 to 85 feet.

Additionally, as part of Riviera's efforts to expand its reach into Latin America, it awarded Yachting Experts marketing and sales rights for Colombia.

"We are honored to have been named an exclusive dealer for Riviera Yachts in what is one of the world's premier boating markets," agency principal Frank De Varona said in a statement. "We are confident that with the extraordinary features of the Riviera brand, coupled with our experienced and knowledgeable staff, along with our strong marketing capabilities, we will generate great success for Riviera in South Florida and Latin America."

KVH Industries named Ben Bettelli of Coast Marine Marketing as its sales representative of the year.

Bettelli is a nine-year veteran of the consumer electronics industry. He joined KVH in 2004 as a field training manager and eventually became a regional sales manager for the company's automotive products. He is now the Pacific Northwest sales manager at Coast Marine Marketing in Renton, Wash.

"Ben is an excellent example of why KVH's commercial maritime sales efforts are flourishing, especially with our efforts to expand the use of our TracPhone V7 and mini-VSAT BroadbandSM service aboard commercial vessels operating out of ports in the Pacific Northwest," Jim George, director of sales for satellite products at KVH, said in a statement.

"We are known as a company that strives for complete customer and dealer satisfaction, and representatives like Ben are key in helping us maintain that reputation while bringing our products to a new audience."
