Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Bay Breeze Yacht Sales, Seminole Marine Group, Pursuit Boats and E&P Marine.

Bay Breeze Yacht Sales of Traverse City, Mich., is the newest Island Packet dealer in North America.

Centrally located near the Great Lakes, Bay Breeze will service the U.S. and Canadian sides of lakes Michigan, Huron, Erie and Ontario from its northern Michigan location.

"We cover a similar territory with our powerboat line, Nordic Tugs," Bay Breeze president Jay Kraft said in a statement, "We are well-known at the shows throughout the region. Island Packet is a wonderful complement to our powerboats, and we look forward to working with the hundreds of Island Packet Yachts owners already here in the Great Lakes."

Kraft and his father founded Bay Breeze in 2003. They had served boaters in various capacities for more than 30 years.

Seminole Marine Group, which purchased the SouthWind brand in March, added six new Florida dealers for the boat line.

They are Parker Boats of Daytona, Parker Boats of Orlando, Auer Marine in Fort Walton Beach, Cannons Marina in Longboat Key, Treasure Island Marina in Panama City Beach and Arch Creek Yacht Sales in Fort Lauderdale.

"We truly believe in the potential of the deck boat market and believe that we have the right boats at the right time," Seminole Marine Group founder Paul Hoppes said. "SouthWind deck boats and hybrids provide the value and flexibility to win over the next generation of boaters."

Seminole Marine Group is a privately owned boatbuilder located in Cairo, Ga. It is best known for its Sailfish line of saltwater fishing boats.

Pursuit Boats appointed Huron, Ohio-based South Shore Marine as its exclusive authorized dealer for northern Ohio.

"We appreciate the understanding that a great sales process is only as good as the service team that delivers commitments before and after the sale," president Tom Mack said in a statement. "We are thrilled to begin our partnership with Pursuit Boats, a family-owned company built on quality products with exceptional customer service like our own."

Pursuit Boats is a division of Holland, Mich.-based S2 Yachts Inc.

HiTide Manufacturing Group consists of Innovative Product Solutions and Jim Black & Associates.

E&P Marine is a marine sales representative group with more than 30 years of experience.
