Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Brewer Yacht Sales, MarineMax, Meridian Yachts, Bruntons Propellers and Pro-Line Boats.

Brewer Yacht Sales was selected as the Northeast sales and servicing dealer for Albemarle Sportfishing Boats.

Albemarle offers 11 models, from the trailerable 242 Center Console to the 410 Convertible Sportfishing Yacht.

Additionally, Viking Sport Cruisers and Brewer said they finalized an agreement that appoints Brewer as the authorized representative for sales and service of Princess Yachts in New England.

MarineMax will represent pontoon builder Harris FloteBote in Minnesota; Lake Hopatcong, N.J., and the surrounding area; and Phoenix and Tempe, Ariz., and the surrounding areas.

"By adding a premium pontoon brand like Harris FloteBote to our lineup, MarineMax continues to enhance its position as 'the complete marine retailer,' offering a vessel to maximize every customer's time on the water," said Bill McGill, MarineMax president, CEO and chairman.

Meridian Yachts announced five additions to its network of dealer representatives.

They are Russo Marine, representing Meridian in Boston and Medford, Mass.; B&E Marine in Michigan City, Ind.; Sail & Ski in Austin, Texas and San Antonio; Trudeau's Marina in Portland, Ore.; and Horizon Yacht Sales in Grenada and the Grenadines.

"We're thrilled to be adding dealers of this caliber to our existing network of dealer-partners," said Rob Parmentier, president of Sea Ray Group. "Many of these dealers are icons in the marine industry and several have long histories with Sea Ray Group and Brunswick. They'll be phenomenal ambassadors for the Meridian brand."

Bruntons Propellers Ltd., a manufacturer of custom propellers, including Varifold and Autoprop, announced the appointment of Yacht Engineering Solutions as its official distributor in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

YES opened in Palma de Mallorca in 2006. It will provide a complete service to clients - warranty, diagnosis, supply, removal and installation to include any ancillary work on the propulsion gear.

Pro-Line Boats appointed six factory-authorized dealers.

They are Dock Holiday, Jacksonville, Fla.; Planet Marine, Charlotte, N.C.; LMC Marine, Houston; The Marine Collection, Miami; Dockside Landing, Ticonderoga, N.Y.; and Saba Marine, Colchester, Vt.
