Denison Yacht Sales opened its 11th location at Soverel Harbour Marina in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., after acquiring The Marine Group, which occupied the space for more than two decades.

"This specific office space has been associated with boating for 23 years and offers us a unique opportunity to set up shop in a place that is well known in the industry," Denison Yacht Sales president Bob Denison said in a statement.

To commemorate the new office, Denison is hosting a special grand-opening event at Carmine's Ocean Grill, 2401 PGA Blvd., in Palm Beach Gardens, from 5-8 p.m. today. The event will include a preview of the 2015 Beneteau 49GT and other brokerage listings.

Soverel Harbour Marina features 146 slips and floating docks for boats 30 to 75 feet. The sheltered marina is off the Intracoastal Waterway about 5 nautical miles from the Palm Beach Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean. With access to repairs, marine supplies, provisioning, restaurants and entertainment, it is a potential cruising stop for boats heading to the Bahamas, the Florida Keys or north for the season.

In addition to the new Palm Beach Gardens location, Denison’s other office locations are: Fort Lauderdale, St. Petersburg and Naples, Fla.; Montauk, N.Y.; Marina del Rey and Newport Beach, Calif.; Holland, Mich.; Seattle; San Carlos, Mexico; and Antibes, France.
