Denison Yacht Sales names new sales director

Rick Young is the new sales director at Denison Yacht Sales. He has been in the industry for more than 30 years, having started in the early 1990s as regional manager for Olympic Boat Centers in California.

After a stint as district manager for the West Coast division of MarineMax, where he concentrated on the Ferretti, Bertram and Sea Ray brands, Young joined Silver Seas Yachts in Newport Beach, Calif., as a founding member. The company expanded operations from San Diego to Seattle.

Young has had a California broker license for more than 15 years and a Florida license for five years. He moved to Fort Lauderdale in 2016 and was named general manager of Grande Yachts in 2017.
