Eastern Boats, a 30-year-old New England boatbuilding company known for building Down East-style boats, implemented PierVantage for Boat Builders this week.

Eastern Boats joins builders such as Derecktor Shipyards, Gunboat, US Watercraft , Lyman Morse Boat Building Co., Front Street Shipyard and Philbrook’s Boat Yard in choosing to use PierVantage for Boat Builders.

"We have grown quickly over the past few years," Eastern Boats owner Bob Bourdeau said in a statement. "In order to keep up with our growth, we felt the need to fine-tune our operations by purchasing a boatbuilding platform. We looked around and interviewed a number of companies and quickly realized PierVantage for Boat Builders was the only solution on the market specifically designed for our business.”

“With PierVantage, we can effectively track layup, assembly, glass, gelcoat, rigging and cleaning by model. Inventory management and reporting are also key capabilities we are looking to leverage fully," Bourdeau said.

“We are seeing strong growth in the semi-production boatbuilding segment and are excited Bob and his team at Eastern Boats put their confidence in us,” CorVant founder and CEO Navroze Eduljee said.
