A 35-foot yacht once owned by Billy Joel sank at a Connecticut marina over the weekend.

Hub Orr, of Stamford, Conn., the boat's current owner, had left Sea Major at Riverscape Marina in Cos Cob for repair work during the winter, according to a report in the Connecticut Post.

Orr said the boat - built in 1985 by Wilbur Yachts of Southwest Harbor, Maine - had recently been inspected and commissioned. He was waiting for a weather window to take Sea Major to a marina in Stamford, Conn.
