The Marina Recreation Association announced former major league baseball pitcher Dave Stewart will be keynote speaker at the 38th annual MRA Educational Conference and Trade Show to be held at Harrah's in South Lake Tahoe, Calif.

Once known for his searing fastballs that earned him the nickname "Smoke," Stewart now works as a motivational speaker. He pitched in five World Series with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Oakland Athletics and Toronto Blue Jays.

Today, Stewart and his family are often seen cruising the San Diego area in their powerboat Lola.
