Freedom Boat Club franchises set to open in four states


FBC Marine Group LLC is set to open Freedom Boat Clubs in South Florida, with New Jersey, Virginia and North Carolina to follow.

Opening March 1 in Fort Lauderdale, FBC Marine will debut its flagship location at Anglers Avenue Marina, featuring a fleet of 2015 Pro-Line boats.

An announcement will be made at the Miami International Boat Show, which starts Thursday, about finalized Miami locations.

Opening April 15 in Brick, N.J., FBC Marine will debut its first of four locations that also will feature 2015 Pro-Lines.

“We are happy to launch multiple Freedom Boat Club locations, beginning with Fort Lauderdale and Miami in the first quarter of 2015 and continuing our expansion throughout the New Jersey, North Carolina [and] Virginia markets in midyear of 2015, primarily utilizing Pro-Line and other Baja Marine brand boats,” FBC Marine CEO Bill Gates said in a statement.
