Freedom Boat Club appointed David Aldrich its full-time director of franchise sales.

The company said Aldrich will focus on targeting and further developing key markets throughout North America where the Freedom Boat Club model fits.

“This is an important post in our long-term growth strategy for Freedom Boat Club,” president and CEO John Giglio said in a statement. “We believe David’s extensive management sales experience, vast North American marine industry connections and overall qualifications are ideally suited to this position and the goals we have established.”

Aldrich brings nearly 30 years of sales and management experience, having worked with multiple major marine industry leaders, including Brunswick Corp., Pro-Line/Donzi, Bombardier, Chris-Craft and Regal Marine.

He has worked directly and boated in many regional markets, including New England, the Northwest, the Mountain States, California and the Southeast, offering a strong base of boating knowledge and contacts.

“I have followed and observed Freedom Boat Club for many years and see this as a tremendous opportunity to be involved in one of the top areas of growth for the boating industry,” Aldrich said. “Freedom Boat Club is nearing the 100-club franchise milestone and we expect to double our growth in the future. It’s exciting to be part of this dynamic organization and I look forward to contributing to its continued success.”
