Galati Yacht Sales now represents Viking Yachts and Valhalla Boatworks on the West Coast after acquiring brand representation from Stan Miller Yachts, Galati said in a statement. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The acquisition expands Galati’s operations to include 15 locations, including Mexico, Costa Rica and Hawaii.

“This new endeavor allows us to focus on customers who enjoy sport fishing and cruising,” said Carmine Galati of Galati Yacht Sales.

The Galati-Viking relationship goes back more than three decades, when the firm first represented the New Jersey-based builder on Florida’s west coast.

“We have worked with Galati Yacht Sales to develop an unparalleled ability to provide our customers with the pinnacle of product and support,” Viking president and CEO Pat Healey said.

“I want to thank John and Brad Buettner, principals of Stan Miller Yachts, for laying the groundwork for the Viking and Valhalla brands in the San Diego, Los Angeles and Seattle markets,” Healey added.
