It is fished out of the Los Sueños Resort and Marina in Costa Rica.

“This tournament brings in some of the best fishing teams in the sport,” Carmine Galati, of Galati Yacht Sales, said in a statement. “It is an extremely well-run tournament in one of the best resorts and marinas in the world, with unbelievable numbers of billfish. We are excited to be fishing a new 72 Viking.”

The first leg of the series will be held from Jan. 17-20, followed by Leg II from Feb. 28-March 3 and Leg III from March 21-24.

Galati Yacht Sales said it has been a sponsor of the tournament since its inception. It started as a single event in 2004 and became a three-part series in 2014.
