German show organizer joins ICOMIA

Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, organizer of the boot Düsseldorf show, has joined the International Council of Marine Industry Associations as a sustaining member.

With about 1,800 exhibitors from more than 65 countries, boot Düsseldorf features about 1,500 boats.

“Known as ‘the place’ where the entire industry meets in January every year, boot Düsseldorf 2018 will feature new products, business developments and maritime equipment over an area of 220,000 square meters, meaning the entire global market will be on location across 16 exhibition halls,” boot Düsseldorf director Petros Michelidakis said in a statement.

The next Düsseldorf show will be Jan. 20-28, 2018.

ICOMIA is an international trade association that has represented the global marine industry since 1966. Thirty-four national federations are full members.
