IMI program set for November

The International Marina Institute will offer its Intermediate Marina Manager program Nov. 16-20 in West Palm Beach, Fla.
The IMM course is a stepping-stone to IMI’s Advanced Marina Management school, scheduled for the week of Dec. 8. Candidates must successfully complete the IMM course in order to enroll in the AMM school, which in turn qualifies one to obtain the Certified Marina Manager designation.

The IMM course covers marina-specific topics including marina law, contracts, risks and liabilities, staff management, fire- and emergency-response planning, environmental management, health and safety compliance, and how best to market your marina to stay competitive in a difficult economy.
