Interlux renewed its sponsorship of the "I Built It Myself" trailerable wooden boat competition June 28-30 at the WoodenBoat Show on the village green at Mystic Seaport in Mystic, Conn.

The competition attracts as many as 50 beautifully crafted boats and proud owners/builders. In previous years, the collection has included kayaks, skiffs, daysailers and canoes by designers such as Iain Oughtred, Joel White, Chesapeake Light Craft, Arch Davis, and William and John Atkin.

“Of the many events Interlux sponsors throughout the year, ‘I Built It Myself’ is one of the most enjoyable,” Interlux marketing manager Jim Seidel said in a statement. “It’s remarkable and inspiring to see so many finely and obviously, lovingly, built and finished boats in one place.”
