Magazine names year’s top marinas

Dock Street Marina in Tacoma, Wash., is the winner of Marina Dock Age magazine's Marina of the Year award in the small category, while Las Vegas Boat Harbor Inc. in Henderson, Nev., is the winner for marinas with more than 250 slips.

Both marinas will receive their awards at a ceremony Jan. 27-29 during the International Marina and Boatyard Conference set for Tampa, Fla.

Each year Marina Dock Age honors two marinas for their facilities and dedication to customer service, as well as a continued commitment in areas such as environmental responsibility, advertising and marketing, industry and community involvement and facility improvements.
