Five marina managers have attained the status of Certified Marina Manager through the Association of Marina Industries’ International Marina Institute.

They include: Jack Hodge, Irish Boat Shop, Charlexoix, Mich.; Tim Grabenbauer, Vero Beach Municipal Marina, Vero Beach, Fla.; Ted Shaw, Savannah Yacht Club, Savannah, Ga.; Dan McKiernan, Saxon Wharf Marina, Southampton, United Kingdom, and Pam Taft, Port of Bellingham-Blaine Harbor, Blaine, Wash.

These five designations were unanimously approved by the association’s Certified Marina Manager Review Committee. The five additions bring the list of CMMs worldwide to 223.

CMM candidates must demonstrate five years experience and complete IMI’s Intermediate and Advanced Marina Management schools.

The next Intermediate Marina Management course will be held Nov. 16-20, in West Palm Beach, Fla. The Advanced Marina Management course takes place in West Palm Beach Dec. 8-13.
