Marina Recreation Association names keynote speaker

Susan Casey, New York Times bestselling author of “The Devil's Teeth” and “The Wave,” will speak at the 44th Annual Marina Recreation Association’s Educational Conference and Trade Show about her latest book, “Voices in the Ocean,” and the years she spent following and researching the world of dolphins.

The conference and trade show will be held Oct. 26-28 at The Fess Parker, a DoubleTree by Hilton Resort in Santa Barbara, Calif. Casey’s keynote presentation will begin about 9:15 a.m. on Oct. 27.

"I'm sure that Susan Casey's presentation will inform, delight and amaze our attendees and will be a great kickoff for our annual conference," MRA operations administrator Mariann Timms said in a statement.
