Marinalife, an online concierge service for boaters, launched an insurance program that gives boat owners a dedicated hands-on service experience, the company said.

Under the banner of Marinalife Insurance Services, the program is led by marine insurance and risk management veteran Peter Teuten.

“Offering insurance is a natural extension of our comprehensive service model,” Teuten said in a statement. “We have a deep understanding of our members’ needs and how insurance fits into the overall equation. In addition to the expertise we provide, members will experience program-specific cost advantages and can avoid having multiple providers.”

Marinalife Insurance Services is a Lloyd’s coverholder and an agent for ACE and several other market leaders.
